Other Haunted Places and Museums

This Blog is a Battlefield

A couple weeks ago I got to visit Gettysburg for the first time. I had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, but I cannot endorse the ghost tour that I took, so instead I am categorizing this as “other haunted places” and sharing some of my photos of the town instead.

There are 60,000 dead bodies in Gettysburg. Urban warfare occurred everywhere throughout the town. The ground is filled with granite and quartz which both hold great amounts of electromagnetic energy…..Think there might be some paranormal activity in this town? I am going to go out on a limb and guess that there just might be.

I found the town to be interesting and melancholy. I also found it surprising that Mary Virginia “Ginnie”/“Jenny” Wade was the only civilian killed in the entire battle. And I also learned that Lincoln was never supposed to give a speech here, it was impromptu and unplanned.

Aside from that, I’ll share some photos. (Pay particular attention to the last photo with the shadow cast of Lincoln’s profile on the side of the building). I could ramble on and on about the miscellaneous things I learned on the very mediocre tour I took, or I could tell Civil War jokes, but I have a feeling people GeneralLee wouldn’t like that……
